It's party time and also time to indulge and have delicious tasty food.
Just a quick recipe I made today for lunch. I popped over to my fishmonger who is always happy to see me as every time I spend so much money at his shop! His fish is so tempting though and really fresh.
I cooked some squid sliced into rings lightly coated with durum wheat flour (which is better than flour for coating) and pan fried it with olive oil. Also I baked some king prawns (really juicy ones) after coating them with breadcrumbs, dill and garlic. We loved them so much!
Here is the recipe which will be great if you are hosting a dinner party during the festivities.
This recipe serves 4.

Clean the prawns: remove the shell but leave the head and the tail on. De-vein them by removing the black filament under the belly using a knife or a toothpick.
Line them up on a baking tray on a sheet of parchment paper and rub them with a little olive oil. Mix the breadcrumbs with the chopped dill, salt and the crushed garlic clove. Mix well and put the mixture all over the flesh of the prawns. Drizzle with olive oil.
Bake for 15 minutes at 180C or 350F or until golden. Serve warm with lemon wedges.
