It is holiday time and I am enjoying the sun at my local Italian seaside resort. The weather is beautiful: the sky is blue and the sun is very strong; after so many months of rain in England I am making the most of this! I love not having to wear so many clothes all the time!
I am staying near a fishmonger (funny enough!) and of course, I could not resist getting some fish for lunch.
I got this little whiting, which my mum used to do for me as a child.
These little fish are cute and appeal to children. They are so small that you don't need to gut them and they are very tasty and ready in 10-15 minutes.
If you cannot find whiting, squid cut into rings is very tasty too.
