Pasta bake is a classic Italian dish well known abroad too. It is ever so simple to prepare, you can make it in advance and it tastes delicious...always!

Cook your pasta al dente, add tomato sauce, cheese and herbs.. I have added olives too. Personalize this dish to your liking and you will find that you will make it over and over again... and that's a promise!

    Hi Alida,
You are correct when you said this dish is a pure classic. I actually had a friend over today for the holidays and I made something very similar to your recipe. Instead of Mozzarella Balls, I just used Ricotta. There is nothing like a baked pasta dish to enjoy for a Sunday afternoon. I love your dish especially with the olives. Never thought of that. Also love the last photo, it is so festive and looks like the Italian flag, green, white, and red. Thanks for sharing! A wish for you and your family to have a Happy New Year dear friend!

I love pasta bakes. Always tasty and also great at this time of year for using up all those left over bits and pieces too. Your bake looks delicious. I could happily munch through a bowl right now!
