Fresh fruit salad with ice cream

Today I am posting something really simple.
You cannot possibly get wrong with fresh fruit salad, especially during summer time.
I usually serve fruit in bowls but this time I have arranged it on a plate, sprinkled it with vanilla sugar and served it with ice cream and biscuits. It makes a delicious summer dessert and it will look good Β on the table if you are having a dinner party.
People can help themselves and have as much as they like.
I have used seasonal fruit I had in my pantry but of course you can use any fruit you like. Be creative and create a good contrast of colours by using different types of fruit.

Dear Alida,
Your fruit salad with ice cream is awesome. I love this! I just cut up strawberries and blueberries with some banana slices and put it over plain pound cake with a little drop of whipped cream for dessert. I could just eat fresh fruit salad all day long. Especially on a hot day, it is so refreshing. It is so hot here we are in a heat wave…Thank goodness for A/C. Lovely mouthwatering post. Have a great day! Stay cool….

Nothing beats a good fruit salad except displaying it so beautifully as you have. The ultimate hot weather dessert.
I made it after coming back from a hot day at the beach. Yes, really refreshing indeed.
