Let's make one of the easiest and most popular Italian finger foods ever: mini pizzas!
This is what I make for children and adult parties when I need something quick. These are always the first ones to disappear from the table.
You can get your little ones involved in the preparation as they are so easy to make that even a child can make them.
With one sheet of puff pastry you will make about 15 mini pizzas.
I have made some "the classic way" with tomato sauce and cheese and some with a fresh sliced tomato, a sprinkle of dried oregano or basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil.
You could also top up your pizzas with some other ingredients you fancy like mushrooms or ham for instance.
Perfect for the party season!

Put the pastry sheet on a lightly floured work top. Using a glass or with a pastry cutter cut out some circles.
You can make the pizzas in two different ways:
Place the circles of pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper:
-spread a teaspoon of tomato sauce on each circle, sprinkle with dried oregano or basil and put a piece of cheese on top
-put a slice of tomato on each circle, sprinkle with dried oregano or basil and drizzle lightly with olive oil
Cook at 200C or 390F for about 15 minutes or until golden. Serve warm or cold.
If you start with one.. you won't be able to stop!
