The basics ingredients are: tomatoes, good quality can tomatoes will be perfectly fine, a handful of black olives, a pinch of oregano and you'll get a delicious dish in no time!

In a pan stir fry the chopped onion with 5 tbsb of olive oil
As soon as the onion is golden add the tomatoes, salt and pepper
Then add the chopped olives and the oregano, cook for about 10 minutes
In the meantime cook the pasta al dente in salty water then drain and add it to the sauce.
Drain the pasta. Turn the heat on and for a minute stir the pasta well with the sauce so that the sauce will be well absorbed with the pasta.
Serve sprinkled with grated Pecorino or Parmesan cheese
Decorate the dish with fresh basil leaves.
